Hello everyone,
Welcome to my new project "Back to the Glory Days", the series that is all about recreating title-winning kits and some memorable kits into the current style!
This series will proceed until the next football season begins (20-21), so stay tuned to find out which clubs will be uploaded here further!
Enjoy!
English Clubs
Arsenal
Home Kit x 1993-94 Cup Winners' Cup Winner
Some will realize Parken Stadium as a place to forget after that bizarre penalty shoot-out against Galatasaray in 2000, but don't forget that the Gunners once won a trophy there! Thanks to Alan Smith who scored the decisive goal against Parma to win their first and only UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1994.
Away Kit x 1978-79 FA Cup Winner
Arsenal with no yellow kit is not the real Arsenal you've ever known, and this kit approved the statement. Arsenal won 3-2 against Manchester United in 1979 with their bespoke away kit. Alan Sunderland scored in the 89th minute to put the game to bed after United hit the equalizer just minute before.
Third Kit x 1995-96 Away Kit
Lightning never strikes twice? Absolutely wrong! I decided to recreate this famous kit, because Arsenal never won the cup with other colors except red and yellow (please prove me wrong if my info is not correct). Is it worth to recreate this masterpiece design? I think so.
Goalkeeper Kits
Chelsea
Home Kit x 2011-12 UEFA Champions League Winner
It's one of the most dramatic nights in the Champions League history, isn't it? Well, that remarkable night came with this remarkable kit which contained more white than usual Chelsea's home kit should be, but it will be dodgy if this Nike-style kit has to include "those Adidas tabs", right?
Away Kit x 1985-86 Full Members' Cup Winner
I'm sure that this cup's name is forgotten by many people, because the cup lasted only 7 seasons (from 1985 to 1992). By the way, this competition was created after English clubs were banned from European campaigns due to Heysel Stadium disaster. And the first-ever final didn't disappoint audience at all as Chelsea thrillingly won 5-4 against Manchester City.
Third Kit x 2016-17 Premier League Title Winner
It maybe not that long ago, but this sparky third kit is still brings up the good memory at the Hawthorns as Batshuayi scored late goal to win the title. Wait, Did I only do hoops style for all Chelsea kits?!
Goalkeeper Kits
Liverpool
Home Kit x 1977-78 European Cup Winner
Late 70's and early 80's is one of the most successful period of Liverpool in the European campaign, and this kit could reflect their triumphs very well. Sir Kenny Dalglish, the scorer of that night, wore the famous V-collar Liverpool kit and proudly lifted the trophy to confirm their second European Cup.
Away Kit x 2000-01 FA Cup Winner
"Owennnn!" I believe this scream from Martin Tyler is still stuck in someone's ears. The 2-1 comeback victory over Arsenal which both late scored by the 2001 Ballon d'Or winner clinched their first FA Cup trophy since 1992, and the yellow jersey paired with navy shorts and socks will be remembered since then.
Third Kit x 2001 UEFA Super Cup Winner
After 5-4 wins over Deportivo Alaves in the most thrilling UEFA Cup Final last year, The Reds, who came in white that night, was automatically scheduled to face Bayern München, the UEFA Champions League Winner, who came along with Oliver Kahn and co. That night in Monaco didn't disappoint the Reds at all as they scored 3 in the first half and then beat Bayern 3-2.
Goalkeeper Kits
Manchester City
Home Kit x 1967-68 Football League First Division Winner
"MaN cItY hAs No HiStOrY", well, whatever you call it, you have to accept that this club really has their own history. It's maybe not that much as their rivals, but once back then they won the top-flight division. The kit mixed up with sky blue and burgundy. That was a bit weird, but yet classy.
Away Kit x 1998-99 Football League Second Division Play-Off Winner
If you talk about some late-goal dramatic matches, Manchester City vs Gillingham will be one of them! The City went behind after 2 late goals from the Gills, but then they unbelievably equalized in 95th minute and went to win the penalty shootout. Could we say "... and Joe Royle has won it!" like Clive said about Solskjær that year? LOL.
Third Kit x 1955-56 FA Cup Winner
Burgundy is one of Manchester City's historic color, just like their away kit in 1956 FA Cup Final, which they wore and won 3-1 against white-and-black Birmingham City. Fact: Bert Trautmann, City's German goalkeeper, played this match with his serious neck injury until the final whistle blew. What a man.
Goalkeeper Kits
Manchester United
Home Kit x 1998-99 UEFA Champions League Winner
"And Solskjær has won it!" bet that you heard these words somewhere before, right? That classy night came with the classy kit as Manchester United made the 2-minute miracle to stun Bayern München in stoppage time.
Away Kit x 1967-68 European Cup Winner
1968 was the year Manchester United put themselves into the European's biggest triumph. The Red Devils in blue beat the Portuguese giant Benfica 4-1 after the game was gone into extra time. Bobby Charlton, George Best and Brian Kidd made their unforgettable marks at Wembley. Also, this was the first time both European Cup finalists wore their away kits in the game!
Third Kit x 1990-91 Cup Winners' Cup Winner
The English Clubs were readmitted into the European competitions again in 1990 after five-year bans, and Manchester United left their return in style. Mark Hughes scored 2 crucial goals to hit the knockout blow against Barcelona, although Ronald Koeman late halved the deficit. The Red Devils came in white like angels, but, yeah, still punished others like their Devils way.

Italian Clubs
AC Milan
Home Kit x 1991-92 Serie A Winner
Although this club has L in the team's name, but back in 1991-92, we can call them AC Mian, because they don't know how to take L that season! The remarkable unbeaten run became sweeter with these classic stripes combined with red and black.
Away Kit x 1993-94 UEFA Champions League Winner
White away kits always be AC Milan's superstitious condition in their European Cup Final, and we all understand their statement. Il Diavolo trashed Johan Cruyff's Barcelona with the outstanding 4-0 victory to confirm the club's fifth Big Ears.
Third Kit x 1994 European Super Cup Winner
Sometimes AC Milan came up with the unusual color kits, blue, green and, yes, yellow, but this yellow one in 1994 was good enough to be remembered. The Italian side put 2 goals past David Seaman as they won 2-0 on aggregates against Arsenal after the 0-0 draw at Highbury.
Goalkeepers Kit
Inter Milan
Home Kit x 1963-64 European Cup Winner
Vienna is the city Inter Milan supporters will forever remember as Nerazzurri beat five-time champions Real Madrid there to hold their first-ever European Cup. These blue-and-black stripes look more beautiful when it came up with the silverware, don't they?
Away Kit x 1964-65 European Cup Winner
Inter Milan didn't only boss the Europe only a year, but after their first-ever European triumph in 1964, they came back in the 1965 European Cup Final to shut Benfica's European victory hope down. Nerazzurri in white jerseys lifted the European trophy for the second time, consecutively.
Third Kit x 1997-98 UEFA Cup Winner
Who could forget this "Ronaldo" kit?! Well, this kit didn't only show the greatness of Il Fenomeno, but also represented how good Inter Milan was in 1997-98 UEFA Cup Final after they trashed their Italian neighbor Lazio 3-0. Anddddd don't forget that Zanetti goal. I could watch that rocket 100 times a day!
Goalkeeper Kits
Juventus
Home Kit x 1992-93 UEFA Cup Winner
Back when UEFA Cup Final had to play 2 games like knockout phases, Juventus pasted half-a-dozen goal into Borussia Dortmund's net and won 6-1 on aggregates. The Baggios (Dino and Roberto) scored 5 and the remaining goal came from Andreas Möller. Might their outstanding performances come from the classic striped shirt like this, which they don't have nowadays? Who knows ...?!
Away Kit x 1995-96 UEFA Champions League Winner
You don't have to think that much when you see those gigantic stars on shoulders. The Old Lady won the Big Ears Trophy for the first time in 11 years after that unforgettable day in Brussels. They had to turn into the blue after the primary outfit clashed with their opponent's color, Ajax, and, then, the history was written in THEIR STARS.
Third Kit x 1983-84 Cup Winners' Cup Winner
The one and only time Juventus won this competition happened in 1984. The Old Lady in yellow scored 2 goals against all-blue Porto. Thanks to Beniamino Vignola's early goal and the restored goal form Zbigniew Boniek.

Spanish Clubs
Barcelona
Home Kit x 2005-06 UEFA Champions League Winner
Paris, rainy night, Jens Lehmann, Henrik Larsson and so much more things to be mentioned in the Champions League Final 2006, but on of them is the gorgeous Barcelona home kit which made this moment to remember to be more memorial. Blue and garnet combination never disappoint anyone as this kit did in that time.
Away Kit x 1991-92 European Cup Winner
This kit came out with the bang from both unusual dazzling color and Ronald Koeman's 112th-minute free kick, but, anyway, this outfit is a part of the Spanish football's history as Barcelona became the second Spanish club who won the European Cup after Real Madrid was the only one who won it in that time. Since then, there're still only these two sides who made their European dream came true.
Third Kit x 1996-97 Cup Winners' Cup Winner
Another "that Ronaldo kit" was made in this series. Sir Bobby Robson's side won this cup against Paris Saint-Germain with the decisive penalty goal from Il Fenomeno in the 38th minute. These diagonal rectangle print was something creative in that time, but please don't look for long, because your eyes could be bled!
Goalkeeper Kits
Real Madrid
Home Kit x 1997-98 UEFA Champions League Winner
Purple is always the great complement for Real Madrid's traditional white home kit, and they won 1998 Champions League with this lovely combo! Predrag Mijatović's goal in 66th minute was worthy enough to put Los Blancos on the throne.
Away Kit x 1999-00 UEFA Champions League Winner
Not many times that both European finalists wore their alternative kits, but Champions League 1999-00 was one of them. Real Madrid wore black instead of white and Valencia wore orange instead of white as well, but the White the Black came up on top that night as they spun Valencia's hope with 3-0 victory. Morientes's opening header, McManaman's outstanding volley and Raúl's counter-attack goal wrapped up the first-ever all-Spanish final.
Third Kit x 1985-86 UEFA Cup Winner
Although Real Madrid lost 2-0 to Köln in the return leg, but who cares! Real Madrid won 5-3 on aggregates to lift the 1986 UEFA Cup trophy with this pale purple kit. In fact, this kit was completed with purplish blue shorts and socks, but I decided to use the same color all over this kit to make it cleaner and have the better looking.Goalkeeper Kits

German Clubs
Bayern Munich
Home Kit x 1974-75 European Cup Winner
There's nothing but red in this kit, isn't kit? Yup, maybe that could impress their supporters' current demand very well. Die Roten with many stars like Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Franz Beckenbauer and Gerd Müller won 2-0 against Leeds in Paris to lift the cup, although Leeds dominated most of the match. After this game, Leeds was banned for 4 years from European competitions due to their fans' violent conduct.
Away Kit x 1966-67 European Cup Winners' Cup Winner
There're many clubs that won the European cup in their home country, and Bayern Munich was a member of this group! Franz Roth broke Rangers' heart with his 109th-minute strike to take Bayern Munich on the golden throne in Nuremberg. One harsh fact is that Rangers' main rival, Celtic, won their European Cup six days later.
Third Kit x 1968-69 Bundesliga Winner
This club was blue? In term of their color that season, yes, but in term of their feeling, absolutely not! They won their second Bundesliga championship (from 29 and likely to be 30 this season) with this color as the home kit, and they won DFB Pokal that season as well (but in red, their third kit that season)!

French Clubs
Paris Saint-Germain
Home Kit x 1993-94 Ligue 1 Winner
Gradient stripe design, lighter shade of blue and red socks are not the things we could see on Paris Saint-Germain nowadays, but back in mid 90's, they wore this kind of kit and won Ligue 1! Does this design worth to be recreated? The answer is below!
Away Kit x 1970-71 Ligue 2 Winner
Every football club has a winning mentality, but Paris Saint-Germain just took it to another level! This club was founded on 12 August 1970 and entered to Ligue 2 in their first-ever season and, as you never expected, they promoted to Ligue 1 after they won the play-offs against Lille and Monaco. Could we see red-white-blue kit combo like this in the future? I hope so.
Third Kit x 1994-95 Coupe de la Ligue Winner
PSG just turned into the giant that night as they smashed Bastia 2-0 and won their first Coupe de la Ligue. Their white away kits with home design always impress many people, but this one really looks Ajax-esque, to be honest, or this design let they have Ajax's superpower from mid 90's?

South American Clubs
It's sad to say that I don't have any knowledge of South American football at all, so I can't describe backgrounds of kits below like I ever did. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions!
Flamengo
Home Kit x 2000-01 "Penta-Tri" Kit
Away Kit x 1981 Intercontinental Cup Winner
Third Kit x 1995 "Papagaio Vintém" Centenary Kit

Other Clubs
Ajax
Home Kit x 1970-71 European Cup Winner
Big red stripe vertically crosses the white shirt, who else but Ajax! This classic kit appeared at sunny Wembley as they reached European Cup final and won 2-0 against the underdog Panathinaikos. The early goal from Van Dijk (not Virgil, but Dick ... er, I mean Dick in Dutch ... well, Dick as a name like Advocaat has) and the put-the-game-to-bed goal from Arie Haan brought Johan Cruyff and co. on top.
Away Kit x 1994-95 UEFA Champions League Winner
Absolutely big night for Ajax, not only because they won their fourth European Cup, but Van Gaal also came to the touchline with his rare reaction (as rare as seeing Loch Ness monster). The cup went straight to Amsterdam by the late goal from Patrick Kluivert, who wore this memorable kit.
Third Kit x 1972-73 European Cup Winner
All-red kit is a rare case from Ajax these day (as rare as seeing LVG's reaction), but, somehow, they wore it once in the biggest European night! Johnny Rep's goal in the 5th minute was enough to beat Juventus at Red Star Stadium.
Goalkeeper Kits
Celtic
Home Kit x 1966-67 European Cup Winner
While Celtic's biggest rival, Rangers, just lost their Cup Winner's Cup Final in Nuremberg 6 days ago, this club then dragged the Gers into the deepest part of their nightmare. The men in green-and-white hoops came back to beat Inter Milan 2-1 in 1967 European Cup Final after they were behind since first minutes. As you know, this cup made the Bhoys become the first-ever British club to win the treble.
Away Kit x 2000-01 Scottish Cup Winner
We all know that both Celtic and Hibernian's home shirts include green, but what if they both wear their away kit in a game? It happened! Back in 2001 Scottish Cup Final, Celtic came out with their yellow away kit and the Hibs wore white. The Bhoys owned Hapmden Park that day as they beat the Hibs 3-0 to lift the cup.
Third Kit x 1985-86 Scottish Premier Division Winner
"Love Street" is the place Celtic fans will forever remember, because it was the place the Bhoys won the top-flight division in the last matchday. They needed to beat St. Mirren with at least 4-goal deficit and wished Hearts to lose to Dundee, so they would won the league on goal difference, and, unbelievably, Celtic's improbable demand came true. The Bhoys in all-green won 5-0 and Hearts lost 2-0 at Dens Park. What the sweet story that was!
Goalkeeper Kits
PSV Eindhoven
Home Kit x 1995-96 KNVB Cup Winner
Bet that this is a kit which reminds you young Ronaldo! (Well, again? is he always a part of kits in this series?) Anyway, all-red with white pinstripes mixed with a bold horizontal white tab was an example of good combo. Until today, it still looks cool ,
Away Kit x 1987-88 European Cup Winner
I know that PSV did this white-and-light-blue away kit years ago to commemorate their first and only European triumph, but making it again is not the bad idea! This win over Benfica through intense penalty shootout confirmed not only PSV's European Cup, but also Benfica's curse which have affected them till these day.
Third Kit x 1996 Johan Cruyff Shield Winner
It was the first time that Dutch Supercup was renamed to Johan Cruyff Shield and, also, the first competitive game that was held at Amsterdam Arena which is Ajax's home soil, and guess what, Ajax lost 3-0 that day to PSV Eindhoven. This bullying was presented by goals from René Eijkelkamp and Marc Degryse.
