Those are KV-85. I added numbering, identification crosses on top (we are in the later part of the war and the Soviet aviation is more present than the German one in the sky)
Here are SU-76s. I just varied the bases with dirt and grass.
Some SU-85 that I based on a ligther ground. The painting technique is a bit different, and hte green that I have used a bit darker.
Here are T34/76, I added infantry for color and interest.
My T 34/85 are painted in a sort of brownish green (different factory than the T34/76...)
So all in all, it could have been worse. But honestly, the Soviet armor is not all that inspiring and I confess it is not easy to get all excited about painting Soviet tanks. I tried to go also for a white wash, but chickened out as this would limit a bit the scenarios to post winter time. The infantry on the other hand was very easy to paint. More on this later.
No need to say, I am nearly completing endless possibilities for armies. Next to come are T-70s and B-64s.
